Below are a few of my musical compositions, but did you know I cannot make music by myself? Creating music is a community effort that takes composers, performers, an audience, and people to support financially. Everyone has a roll to fill in making music possible. The song "HeartCry" was written for my graduate composition recital. The song has been written as a soprano & tenor duet accompanied by orchestra and choir. The Lyrics have been written by J. Abigail Kaye, expressing that God hears even the hidden cries of his children. His faithfulness is unfailing.

Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence was performed at the composition recital of Seth Allen Peterson. The words for the song were taken from the liturgy of St. James by Gerard Moultrie and translated from Greek. The arrangement is set in a middle eastern style--performed by a cappella Choir (SSAATTBB).

This arrangement is written for choir and string trio. The low tones of the cello are written to help the listener to feel the heartache of our depravity contrasted with the rich mercy found in Christ. This modern adaptation of an old hymn, He Giveth More Grace, helps brings out the thought of Romans 20:5—a scripture passage expressing that even though we live in a world cursed by sin, a world where everyone struggles, God’s grace abounds more than our deepest hurt.
